University of Strathclyde
Dr. Stuart Ingleby is a Chancellor’s Fellow in Physics at the University of Strathclyde. His research in quantum magnetometers is focussed on the translation of new magnetic sensing capabilities to real-world measurements and applications.
He has led development of digital alkali spin masers for highly precise and accurate geophysical magnetometry, with applications in resilient GNSS-denied positioning, sensing and detection of concealed objects, and the monitoring and science of space weather. His research also encompasses ultra-sensitive shielded magnetic sensors for healthcare applications, accurate high-bandwidth magnetometry for calibration and baseline correction, and tuned radio-frequency magnetometry.
