28 May 2026: Building on work the Centre for Public Policy has been doing to analyse the Scottish party manifestos, these word clouds provide a flavour of the priorities and focus of the different parties.

Where do the Scottish parties stand on key issues? In addition to our series of briefing papers which analyse the manifestos focused on key policy themes, the word clouds below give a flavour of the topics covered in each of the main party manifestos in the Scottish election campaign.

This suite of work is designed to provide insight into the priorities and promises of the different parties, where we might see collaboration opportunities between parties, and where challenges may lie.
